“Start him against City” – These Arsenal fans call for Gunners star to start against Man City following ace’s fine training goal

Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to call for new signing Denis Suarez to be started against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Suarez, who joined the north London club from Spanish giants Barcelona on loan until the end of the season as per BBC, scored an impressive goal in training for the Gunners, the video of which can be seen below, with some fans taking this opportunity to call for him to start against City.

Suarez didn’t really get a lot of chances to impress during his spell with Barca, however this shouldn’t put Arsenal fans off of Suarez, as during his time at Sevilla under Unai Emery, the Spaniard was able to show the world what he was all about.

During his one season in Seville, Suarez scored six times in 47 appearances, and he helped the club win the Europa League, numbers that should fill Gunners fans with confidence going forward in regards to the player.

Suarez could turn out to be a fine signing for the Gunners, and if his exploits in training are anything to go by, the midfielder could turn out to be one of the signings of the January window.

After Arsenal posted Suarez’s goal in training onto Twitter, fans flocked to call for the player to be handed his debut against City, with some even claiming he should start against Pep Guardiola’s side.
