Inter Milan star Romelu Lukaku scored what is possibly the weirdest goal of his season in the 5-1 dismantling of Udinese this afternoon.
The Belgium international started a quick counter-attack for his side, but was presented with an opportunity at point-blank range to fire an effort at the opposition net but completely missed the ball.
A second cross was whipped in by Alexis Sanchez, which eventually hit the post and rebounded in the goal off Lukaku, who looked none the wiser.
It won’t bother the 28-year-old, though – it takes him to 24 Serie A goals this season for the Italian champions.
It’s bizarre, but they all count!
