The 12 best signings by PL clubs this summer, including Man United, Arsenal & Chelsea new-boys

Posted by

Yves Bissouma

Another fine signing by Tottenham, Yves Bissouma has joined from Brighton. Spurs fans will hope he succeeds where some recent midfield signings, most notably Tanguy Ndombele, have failed.

Kalvin Phillips

A big loss for Leeds, but a great signing for Manchester City. Guardiola needed a long-term replacement for the departing Fernandinho, and Kalvin Phillips has shown he can be ideal for the job.

Tyler Adams

A promising young player, Tyler Adams impressed at RB Leipzig and will now hope to breathe new life into this Leeds side, who desperately needed to replace Phillips in midfield. One imagines Adams could’ve shone at an even bigger club, but we’ll have to see how he adjusts to life in England.

Keane Lewis-Potter

Finally, a real coup by Brentford: Keane Lewis-Potter looks an outstanding talent, who set the Championship alight last season. If he can take that form with him to the Premier League, he’ll prove a superb asset and should help Thomas Frank’s side survive in the top flight once again.
