Chelsea to face competition from two Premier League clubs for transfer target

Chelsea are set to face competition from two Premier League clubs for PSV winger Noni Madueke.

Madueke is one of the most exciting young talents in Europe and one of few Englishmen currently plying their trade outside of their home country. It’s rare to see an English player leave England to play football, but Madueke is proof of how beneficial it can be.

Madueke spent some time at Tottenham and Crystal Palace during his youth career, and according to 90min, both clubs are interested in competing with Chelsea to prise him away from PSV.

Despite being well-capped for the England youth teams, Madueke may be considering a move back to his home country to give him the best chance of playing regularly for Gareth Southgate’s senior side.

At the age of 20, Madueke is already a regular for PSV and is far from reaching his full potential, so it’s no surprise to see three Premier League clubs showing an interest.

It could be a difficult decision for Madueke if all three clubs make a move for him, as Chelsea will undoubtedly use their financial power to tempt the 20-year-old, but Spurs and Palace may be able to offer more regular game time.
