Exclusive: Arne Slot could bring ‘monster’ Arsenal player’s brother with him as Salah question persists

The impending arrival of Arne Slot as Liverpool’s next manager means the Reds can now begin to turn their attention to the upcoming transfer window.

The Merseysiders are expected to build on a relatively heavy prior summer window of spending.

In amongst that, further arrivals from Feyenoord beyond the Dutch head coach (and potentially at his request) can’t be excluded.

One name that might be floated around the corridors of power at Anfield is that of Quinten Timber (the brother of Arsenal’s Jurrien, described as a ‘monster’ on socials by teammate Declan Rice, as shared by The Boot Room), whom Slot is understood to greatly appreciate.

First and foremost on the list is the need to strengthen the backline. Expect Liverpool to invest in a centre-back, with multiple names already on the list.

Whilst Slot’s arrival could potentially alter the strategy in place, Goncalo Inacio and Willian Pacho continue to be two names constantly monitored at the top of the Reds’ list, according to sources close to CaughtOffside.

Naturally, Mo Salah will have some say on how the Merseysiders’ summer window transpires, with his contract currently set to expire in 2025. Saudi Arabia will make another huge attempt to land his signature.

That said, things aren’t progressing quickly with the most interested outfit, Al-Ittihad. The Saudi Pro League side is already starting to evaluate possible alternatives as a result.
