Robinho has already made his early mark on Man City and the Premier League with his Brazilian flare and amazing pace, but he doesn’t want to stop there. The £32m striker is hoping to add a huge haul for his club to get them through the season.

Robinho has set himself a 30-goal target in his debut Barclays Premier League season.

Manchester City’s Brazil striker scored a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Stoke on Sunday to take his tally to six since his £32m move from Real Madrid.

He said: ‘My one objective was to play in the Premier League and I’m happy to be doing that. It was wonderful to score three but the main objective was to win.

‘The only way that I can say this season has been a success is to achieve something with the team at the end of it. But I think I can score more than 30 goals and I want to do that.’ (Daily Mail)

To put that in perspective: Fernando Torres scored 24 for Liverpool in the league and 33 overall during his first season. That was a blistering season. And while Robinho is a very good player, that number does seem a bit ambitious.

How many do Man City supporters see him bagging?
