There’s no doubting Ronaldo’s class when it counts. He’s helped make United one of the best clubs in the world, while also grabbing every piece of silverware in sight. Whilst he is a fantastic player, you have to ask yourself if he’s REALLY worth £170,000-a-week?
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendez is in talks with Manchester United’s hierarchy over a new £170,000-a-week contract for the Portuguese star. (Daily Mirror)

even for that money still wont be the player he was last season.
He is not happy let him go to Real the club he supported as a boy.Something not right at old traford first time i see Fergie lick a players ass.Imagine Beckam and Vanistilroy had stayed at united they would not need Mr i am better than united.United made him the player he is and this is how they get repayed pathetic.
Ferguson should open his eyes and let this player go could be the downfall of uniteds season well i hope not.

he is a pig, a cancer to the game, he dives , whines moans like a little ponse, i cannot stand him, he has nothing more than pathetic this season in comparison to other players on half his salary , united should let him rot in reserves this season and fine him for even asking such incredible money , let him go to madrid and see wat he can do over there , he is a lazy brat who jumps around the place after a tackle, see when he kicked out at scott brown he tried to pull him to his feet , imagine someone doing that to him he wouldnt get up for weeks

All of your points I agree with, which is the percise reason that he should stay where he is, he will cause more trouble for Utd than he is be worth, the other big stars will also look for an improved contract etc, etc.
He is not going to repeat his form of last season, RM wont pay what they were going to pay last summer, if Utd dont win a major trophy this season but still have to let Ronaldo go or get rid of him (whichever) for less than what they would of got for him last year, what a kick in the backside that would be,
I suspect somewhere in the region of 10 to 15 mill less than last summer!
I do hope that this story run’s & run’s & run’s.
Exceptional tallent but a very poor attitude and no loyalty whatsoever.

yes he has only had one great season. yes he dives.yes he wants more money.
but what player doesnt.
he is the one that worked his ass off tho get where he is. he is the one who stays back after training to do more practice. he is the one who made himself. the club didn’t. all the club did to make him a better player was help him. not make him. they gave him to instructions. he worked on them.
you lot whould all be shot. you obviusly have no idea what it takes to be a professional footballer. you all just believe what you hear and follow along with what other people are saying. ie the media

Have you heard of one Fernando Torres? He remained loyal to Atletico Madrid while they were rotting in the 2nd Division and struggling in La Liga. He then took a PAY CUT to join Liverpool, turning down massive money from United, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Atletico fans wished him well because he had proven his loyalty. This man represents our sport, not Ronaldo.

also i agree with irish scouser, torres is a true role model of our game, ronaldo is a cheat who is the most over rated player in the prem, yes he has some skills n can hit a free kick every now and again but he has the confidence of an abused israeli and doesnt have a big influence in the game she plays, unlike fabregas who i think doesnt get the credit he deserves… i think he is the best midfielder in the world. he can pass, tackle, shoot, and his intelligence in the game is unbelievable. he game from barcalona, his childhood team, at the age of 16 to get the opportunity to play first team football which was limited at barca.
he has now been here almost five years and developed into a great football role model, over the last two years he has been targeted for a return to barca following his great form for the gunners, but astonishingly refused because of his loyalty to arsenal and wenger, the one who believed in him wen he bought him from barca. and still yet not having won a trophy for 4 years with arsenal still persists to carry on with them until they are successful again… now thats what i call loyalty, not going around with an everyone loves me attitude. ronaldo should respect the team who gave him the opportunity to play and become who he is today, he shouldnt keep them in the dark about his true passion to play for real and stop lying and pretending u want to be there
as for fergie wot a blind fool, the potential money he could get from the over-rated show boat could be substantial, can he not see that if the player doe snot want to be there u shudnt force him to stay, fergies turned into a beggar n i have lost all respect for him, jus let him go .
