Long term Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic looks set to leave Fiorentina with the Serie A side already preparing for his exit by drawing up a list of suitable replacements according to talkSPORT.

La Viola are apparently scouting Southampton star Gaston Ramirez as a possible replacement for the 23 year old Montenegrin, who’s replacement may already be at Fiorentina. Vincenzo Montella brought in Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi in January and the former Man United man may well have been signed in the knowledge that Jovetic may be on his way out.

Jovetic has scored 23 goals in his last 48 Serie A appearances and is seen by many as an ideal forward to help boost Arsenal’s strike-force. The former Partizan Belgrade man is comfortable on the ball and able to play in a number of positions and may well be tempted by a move to the North London club.

Arsene Wenger is known to be an admirer of Jovetic and has previously failed with moves to sign the forward so perhaps this summer the Gunners boss will be ready to try his luck again.

Though Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott have been in relatively good form this term there is certainly scope for another forward to boost the Arsenal attack.
