Striker keen to move to Premier League.

Check in to Liverpool vs West Ham United

Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfriend Bony has stated that a summer move to West Ham is still a possibility according to The Metro.

The Ivorian forward has been in great form for his side this season and he has been attracting the attention of a number of Premier League clubs.

His goals have fired Vitesse into contention for the Dutch title as they currently sit just three points behind Dutch giants Ajax at the top of the table.

Speculation in recent weeks had strongly linked Bony with a move to West Ham after chairman David Gold hinted the club were on the verge of signing a top class striker.

But those rumours have been dampened in recent days with suggestions that the likes of Fulham and Chelsea were set to join the race for the player’s signature after becoming aware of his availability.

Bony maintains though that he is keen to play in the Premier League and would consider a move to Upton Park.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is desperate to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer. Current first choice forward Andy Carroll is set to return to his parent club Liverpool as the club are unwilling to match the £15 million asking price to convert his loan deal into a permanent one.
