Chelsea target Andre Schurrle has dropped a massive hint about his proposed move to Stamford Bridge according to Goal.com.

The 22 year old, who has long been linked with interest from Stamford Bridge, made some very telling statements following Bayer Leverkusen’s 1-0 win over Hamburg on the final day of the Bundesliga season.

“Certain things were promised to me,”

“I hope they will keep these promises. It also depends on Leverkusen. I think, it was my last match.”

Schurrle has helped his side secure a Champions League berth for next term after an excellent season during which he has netted 11 goals and provided a great many assists and may well have brought a successful end to his two season spell at the BayArena club.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich may well be keen to make a number of signings this summer having seen the Blues fall some way off the Premier League title race as well as falling at the first hurdle in defence of their Champions League title.

Jose Mourinho may well be set to return to his former club and could well be keen to put his stamp on the club he guided from 2004 to 2007.

Schurrle has scored 43 goals in 149 club appearances for Bayer Leverkusen and his former club Mainz and has netted seven times in 22 appearances for the German national side.
