Allardyce plots Sane Raid.

Check in to Transfer Window: Done Deal Alerts

West Ham United are finally set to make their move for Bordeaux centre back Ludovic Sane, according to talkSPORT.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen to add some more experience to his back line and has identified Sane as the ideal man for the job. Earlier this month Sane spoke of his admiration for the English top flight and had been hoping to secure a move to a Premier League club ahead of the summer transfer window by saying: “I love the game and the atmosphere in the Premier League.”

Allardyce has already added Romanian international Razvan Rat from Shakhtar Donetsk and is now hoping to make additions to the centre of his defence.

Sane has made over 60 appearances for the former champions and has been one of the club’s star performers this season and will likely sit down for talks about his future with club chiefs after the Coupe de France final where Bordeaux will take on Evian this weekend.

A seasoned international; he is now firmly established in the  Senegalese national side too, and was a member of the squad that participated in last years African Nations Cup. However, they failed to qualify for this year’s event.
