PSV Eindhoven have confirmed the completion of their move to sign Chelsea youngter Jeffrey Bruma according to Sky Sports.

The 21 year old moved to Stamford Bridge as a 15 year old, forcing his way through the club’s youth set-up and into the first team picture. However the Dutch international struggled to make an impact at the West London club making just four Premier League appearances before being loaned out first to Leicester City and then to Bundesliga side Hamburg for two seasons.

Bruma returned from his spell in the German top tier and it was fairly likely he was to be offloaded and a move to PSV Eindhoven may well be one that sees the talented centre-back re-ignite his career.

Given that Bruma would have to see off competition from the likes of David Luiz, Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill and John Terry it is probably a sensible move for the youngster to make a move back to the his native Holland.

Bruma has four Dutch national team caps to his name.
