Talented Polish striker Robert Lewandowski was angling for a move to Bayern Munich earlier in the summer, seemingly preferring them above all other interested parties. However, he later seemed to settle his dispute with Borussia Dortmund and stay on for another year on a pay rise. Still, the 24-year-old is much-admired around Europe, and recent rumours suggest Chelsea could be back in for him if they fail to land other targets. Although Lewandowski may simply be biding his time on a move to Bayern next summer, perhaps a good enough offer could tempt Dortmund into selling him now to avoid him joining their rivals? It certainly feels like we haven’t heard the last of this one.
