Check in to Transfer Window: Done Deal Alerts

Everton are demanding Manchester United wide man Wilfried Zaha on loan as part of any deal that sees midfield player Marouane Fellaini move to the Premier League champions, according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

The Red Devils have been trying to negotiate a deal for the big-haired Belgium international all summer long, although as yet the two clubs have been unable to come to any sort of agreement over Fellaini’s departure from Goodison Park.

So far, new United head coach David Moyes has seen two joint bids for Fellaini and his Toffees team-mate Leighton Baines rejected out of hand by the Merseyside giants, the second of which was reportedly worth a whopping £38 million.

As a result, United have since decided to just concentrate on landing the 25-year-old attacking midfield player instead, with Moyes understood to be readying a £15m offer for Fellaini before the summer transfer window slams shut for business for the year on Sept 2.

However, it now appears as though Everton will only consider allowing their star man to move to Old Trafford this season if they are also loaned United’s exciting new England international in return, despite the winger having only recently joined the club for Crystal Palace.
