Toffees star wants Old Trafford switch.
Everton midfielder has reportedly told his club that he wants to join Man United according to the Daily Mail.
The 25 year old Belgian international apparently arrived at the Toffees Finch Farm training ground to personally inform boss Roberto Martinez that he wished to leave the Goodison Park side which leaves the Merseyside club in a difficult position.
Man United have failed with two combined bids for Fellaini, and team-mate Leighton Baines, and Everton will not want to find themselves stuck with an unhappy player so a lot could not depend on whether David Moyes makes a fresh offer for the midfield powerhouse.
Moyes is yet to make a high profile signing this summer and as such could feel this is the ideal time to make an increased bid for Fellaini, a player who certainly was a favourite of the former Everton boss during his time in charge of the club.
It was David Moyes who brought Fellaini to Everton for a club record £15m deal from Standard Liege and the attacking midfielder has since made 177 appearances for the club, scoring 33 goals in the process.
