Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan are reportedly both keeping tabs on experienced Man United centre-back Nemanja Vidic according to Le10Sport.

The 31 year old Serbian international may have suffered with a fair few injuries in recent seasons but when fully fit the Old Trafford defender is still a very able performer and Man United boss David Moyes may well be ready to listen to offers for the veteran as he looks to put his own stamp on the squad he inherited from Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer.

Moyes can currently call upon Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling as alternative central defensive options but could be ready to splash out on new blood if he feels it necessary.

Vidic is into his ninth season at Man United and could see a move to Italy as a new challenge, one that he might feel is well timed given the end of Ferguson’s reign.

The former Spartak Moscow man has made 271 appearances for Man United, helping the club to five Premier League titles and a Champions League success in the process.
