Man United have received a huge boost in their apparent pursuit of young French playmaker Remy Cabella with the Daily Express claiming that Montpellier are ready to listen to offers for the 23 year old.

This source quotes Montpellier boss Jean Fernandez actively courting the Old Trafford side stating;

“He is an intelligent boy who is enjoying a good season.

“Now, if in the winter transfer window Manchester United offer €18m (£15m) as I have read, he must go.”

“Although that would kill the team, one cannot refuse an offer like that.”

Man United boss David Moyes will need no clearer an indication that the Ligue 1 side are happy to sell Cabella to them and as such a January bid may well be in the offing.

Cabella is thought to be keen on a move to a club that can offer him Champions League action and Moyes could well do with further freshening up his midfield.

The attacking midfielder may be seen as a better fit for the club than Japanese international Shinji Kagawa, who is struggling to secure a regular spot in the Man United first team set-up.

Cabella will be all to aware that a high profile move to Man United could greatly aid his push to secure a first full senior French national team cap.
