Highly rated Belgian youngster Adnan Januzaj has committed his future to Man United by signing a new five year contract with the Old Trafford side according to the BBC.

The 18 year old scored twice on his full Premier League debut against Sunderland earlier this month and there had been some subsequent speculation linking the attacking midfielder with interest from a number of Europe’s ‘Elite’ but David Moyes has safely negotiated a deal to tie the teenager to the club in the long term.

“It’s a great thrill to be able to sign for Manchester United,” the Belgium-born player told the club’s website.

“Since arriving here I have always felt like this was the right club for me.”

Man United signed Januzaj from Anderlecht in March 2011 and after impressing in both the club’s youth and reserve sides he forced his way into the first team reckoning during the summer pre-season period which led to a call-up to the first team squad.
