Man United boss David Moyes has earmarked a move for Celtic keeper Fraser Forster according to Football Direct News.

The Old Trafford side have identified the 25 year old England international as a potential replacement for Spaniard David de Gea, who has been strongly linked with a return to Madrid with Real said to be keen on the former Atletico man.

Forster has been in fine form this season, conceding just 14 goals in 27 Scottish Premiership appearances and a move back to the Premier League would probably tempt the former Newcastle United man.

Bernabeu boss Carlo Ancelotti apparently sees de Gea as a replacement for his current number one Diego Lopez, with World Cup winner Iker Casillas continuing to warm the bench at the Spanish giants.

David de Gea had a stuttering start to his Man United career but over the past 18 months has been one of the most consistent custodians in the English top tier, though amazing he is still to win his first Spanish national team cap.
