The 22-year-old has earned himself international recognition this season as he continues to impress in the middle of the park for Sporting, and the club are preparing themselves for a flurry of activity surrounding the youngster this summer.

Carvalho has recently hinted that a move to the Premier League champions could be of great interest to him, whilst Spanish giants Real Madrid had also been counted as a possible option.

However, it is now Juventus who are said to be leading the charge for his services as they are reportedly gearing up for the potential loss of Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba.

United had been linked with both Bianconneri stars as David Moyes is ready to pump £200m into his ailing squad in order to avoid a repeat of the current campaign that sees them likely to miss out on Champions League qualification.

But Pogba has been link with moves to Real Madrid and PSG, while Vidal has also been strongly tipped to head to the Spanish capital too, meaning that Juve will be looking to the Portuguese youngster to fill the gap of whoever departs.
