The self-styled Special One caused huge controversy by sanctioning the season-long loan move of the powerful Belgium international to Premier League rivals Everton at the start of the campaign.

And the 20-year-old has once again proved himself to be one of the most accomplished strikers currently plying their trade in the top flight, with Lukaku having managed to register an impressive 11 goals and six assists in his 25 matches in total in all competitions for the Merseyside giants, including an equally eye-catching 10 strikes and six assists in his 23 Premier League matches for his new team.

However, despite those outstanding attacking numbers, the Portuguese is understood not to see a place in his team for the Belgium at Stamford Bridge next season, with Mou now hoping to be able to sell Lukaku to a club on the Continent as opposed to a rival from the Premier League, with both Atletico de Madrid and Borussia Dortmund known to be interested in the player.
