Real Madrid are preparing a massive summer offer for Man City keeper Joe Hart according to the Daily Star.

Bernabeu boss Carlo Ancelotti has followed his predecessor’s lead of dropping captain Iker Casillas to the bench and has opted to use Diego Lopez as his first choice custodian but now wants to bring in England man Hart to field between the posts.

Hart shares the same representatives as world record signing Gareth Bale and that may well aid the La Liga side in their pursuit of the 26 year old Etihad Stadium star.

Joe Hart may well consider a move to Real Madrid given that his ability was called into question by boss Manuel Pellegrini with the Chilean boss dropping the Man City goalkeeper on a number of occasions, opting to use giant Romanian Costel Pantilimon in his stead.

Indeed Hart has been left on the bench for eight Premier League and Champions League fixtures this term and that may well fuel any potential interest in a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Man City have no financial need to cash-in on Hart and though £25m is a big offer for the player the only chance Ancelotti would have of signing the former Shrewsbury Town man is if the player himself pushed for an exit.
