Six top clubs dotted around Europe are all believed to be in the running for the strike ace, including Arsenal, who were heavily linked with him during the January transfer window, and Tottenham, who had also expressed an interest in his services.

And now Les Gones are preparing themselves for a slew of bids over the summer as interest in the 22-year-old looks set to be intensified.

Lyon président Jean-Michel Aulas has already insisted that Lacazette will be staying with the club, and is now looking to renegotiate his contract and hand him a significant wage increase as his current deal expires in the summer of 2016.

However, the Ligue 1 side may find it tough to keep hold of the striker, who has scored 14 goals in 32 French top flight games this term, if big clubs come knocking.

Lyon look set to miss out on Champions League football next term, though, as they are currently sat in fifth place in the table, and Liverpool are said to be the most keen in snapping him up from the southern side.
