Star Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana is set to become the latest piece in Liverpool’s jigsaw as he has apparently told the club that he has his heart set on a move to Anfield this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United had been monitoring the England international this season, but Lallana – a boyhood Everton fan, is reportedly keen to link up with Brendan Rodgers when the transfer window re-opens in the summer.
Liverpool believe they can land the 25-year-old for around £20m and that Southampton owner Katharina Liebherr is prepared to green light a sale.
The Reds are also prepared to offer him double what he earns on the south coast, which is thought to be in the region of £35,000 per week.
Lallana is yet to declare his interest in leaving the club publicly as he does not want to risk upsetting the Saints faithful, having been with the club since he was 12-years-old and skippering the side over their past two seasons in the top flight.
The midfield ace will likely travel to the World Cup this summer after another impressive season at St Mary’s.
