Juventus to offer Spurs target in swap deal.

Check in to England vs Italy

Juventus will look to use Tottenham Hotspur target Mirko Vucinic as a makeweight in a deal to sign in-demand Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado, according to Fichajes.com.

The Italian giants are desperate to beat the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona to the signing of Cuadrado, who has just enjoyed a superb season for La Viola, establishing himself as one of the most exciting attacking players in Serie A, and who will now be hoping to impress at this summer’s World Cup with Colombia.

With 13 goals, eight assists and some eye-catching displays, the 26-year-old is now one of the most in-demand transfer targets in Europe this summer, and Juventus now look the favourites to land him as they prepare to offload Vucinic and three other players as part of a deal to bring him to Turin.

This will come as a blow to Spurs, who had eyed up the Montenegro forward as a potential signing upfront this summer, though he appears likely to remain in Italy with a move to Florence.

Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez has also been linked as a target for the Serie A champions, but it could be that this exchange deal brings Cuadrado’s transfer fee down, making him the preferred target for manager Antonio Conte.
