Arsene Wenger wants to bring in the Italian international to boost his attacking options and Balotelli’s agent has talked up the possibility of a £27m deal being done and now Arsenal negotiator Richard Law now looking to draw up a competitive contract for the former Man City man.

The Gunners are ready to offer Balotelli £180k a week but will look to share a portion of his image rights, which are worth millions per year.

Though Balotelli has had his fair share of run-ins and bust-ups since returning to the San Siro in January 2013 he has also scored regularly, netting 30 goals in 54 appearances for AC Milan, and is said to be open to the idea of a move to Arsenal.

Wenger overly relied upon Olivier Giroud as his chief central striking weapon last term and Balotelli would certainly provide the Arsenal manager with a real improvement on the big French international forward.
