Liverpool are set to make significant steps in the transfer market this month as the Anfield side prepare for their UEFA Champions League return.
The following five names could be on their way to Liverpool, according to the Daily Star.
Sevilla left back Alberto Moreno was on the standby list to go to the 2014 FIFA World Cup with Spain, but will perhaps be relieved to have missed out given the disastrous campaign endured by the double European champions and holders.
Moreno enjoyed a tremendous season at club level, helping his team keep nine clean sheets, and galloping forward whenever possible.
The 21 year-old scored three goals in La Liga last term, and could well be shaped into a world class full back by Brendan Rodgers.
