Crystal Palace Linked With Move to Sign Talented £10m Tottenham Attacker

Selhurst Park side want White Hart Lane bit-part player.

Crystal Palace are reportedly one of a number of clubs chasing Tottenham attacker Gylfi Sigurdsson according to The Sun.

The Icelandic international has struggled to retain a foot-hold in the White Hart Lane first team set-up and would’ve hoped that following the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid that his chances to impress would have increased but that has not proven the case.

The 24 year old former Hoffenheim man started 12 Premier League fixtures in his debut season at the north London club and that only slightly increased in 2013/14 to 14 starts and though the cultured forward, who works best in a wide role, has shown what he is capable of there appears ever chance that new boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to cash in on his services.

This source claims Tottenham may look to secure as much as £10m from Sigurdsson’s exit, which may be a tad optimistic, with Swansea City challenging Tony Pulis in a race for the Spurs man.

Pochettino is set to offload a number of the squad he inherited from former manager Tim Sherwood, with a deal already agreed to sell tough tackler Jake Livermore to Hull City, where he impressed during a loan spell last season.
