Reds make massive offer to Bayern’s flying Swiss star.
Liverpool are said to be on the verge of signing Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri after club officials met with his family to hammer out a move to Anfield, according to the Metro.

The Bundesliga outfit have apparently sanctioned their permission for Liverpool to open talks with the player, who is currently impressing with his country at the World Cup in Brazil.
And Liverpool are confident they will be able to conclude the deal quickly, with senior officials said to be on the verge of agreeing a five-year-deal worth £95,000-a-week.
Shaqiri has emerged as Brendan Rodgers’ top transfer targets this summer after falling short in deals to land both Yevhen Konoplyanka and Southampton star Adam Lallana so far.
Reports in Germany are claiming that though the two clubs are yet to agree a fee for the player it will be a mere formality once he agrees to the Reds’ offer.
The 22-year-old has made it clear that he sees his future away from Bayern Munich, having failed to get a regular foothold in the side since joining the club from FC Basel.
