Arsenal have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Argentina winger Angel Di Maria after he reportedly told the Spanish giants that he wants to quit the club this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

Boss Arsene Wenger has been hot on the trail of the former Benfica man for the best part of a year and has already been quoted a £40m fee to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The Argentine played a key role in Los Blancos’ Champions League triumph last season but he is said to feel undervalued at the Bernabeu.
And his future has come into further doubt recently after Carlo Ancelotti’s men were linked with a move for Monaco star James Rodriguez after his impressive performances for Colombia at the World Cup has convinced the European champions to splash out on his signature.
Rodriguez has been touted as a replacement for Di Maria, but he is not hanging around to find out and has declared his intention to leave the club over the summer with the Premier League his most likely destination.
