Chelsea have offered club legend Petr Cech to QPR, the Daily Mail reports.

Cech is currently out of favour at Chelsea having lost his place in the Blues first team to the impressive young Belgian goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois.

The chances of Cech regaining his place in Chelsea’s first team appear to be slim at the moment, forcing Cech to look elsewhere for first team football.

Chelsea understand Cech’s desire to play regular football and won’t stand in the Czech international’s way. However, the Blues don’t want Cech to move to a direct rival, either in the Premier League or Europe.

Cech would like to remain in London so Chelsea have offered their number two goalkeeper to QPR, who are unlikely to be a direct rival this season.

The Blues legend is currently in Prague on international duty and revealed little when he was quizzed on his Chelsea future.

‘I’ve been at the club for 10 years, the situation is now new to me,’ he told sport.cz. ‘The three opening matches I could not play for the team. I have no reason to panic, pack up and leave.

“I am a Chelsea player, where I have two more years of contract”.

Although QPR would be happy to have a player of such quality on their books, they recently signed Alex McCarthy from Reading for £6 million and with Rob Green also at the club, they already have two very good goalkeepers.
