Arsenal meet Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium this weekend for what could be a crucial early-season clash between these two main title contenders.

This will undoubtedly be the biggest game of the Gunners’ season so far, with Arsene Wenger’s side a little slow to get going so far with just one win and two draws from their opening three matches so far.
City, meanwhile, have already seen off Liverpool with a 3-1 win at the Etihad Stadium, though they were then victims of a shock home defeat to Stoke City in their next game, and will be in need of three points to bounce back here.
The two sides drew 1-1 in their last meeting at the Emirates, but Arsenal will be under some pressure to improve their results against the bigger teams this season, with far too many points dropped against their title rivals in the key encounters last term.
Arsenal and City also met in the Community Shield at the start of the season, with the Gunners running out 3-0 winners on the occasion, though it is hard to take a lot from what was essentially a pre-season friendly.
