Liverpool have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 Premier League games. Last season the Reds regularly outscored opponents so it was not such a worry, this season their defensive frailties need to be addressed.

Everton have conceded 13 goals this season, the most in the Premier League so far. Six of those came in a crushing defeat against Chelsea.

Summer signing Mario Balotelli has only scored one goal in his last 19 Premier League games. The Italian is yet to net in the league for Liverpool despite making three appearances.
