Former Manchester United Chief Executive David Gill To Be English FA Candidate For FIFA Vice-President Position

Gill stepped down from his role at Manchester United in 2013.

Former Manchester United chief executive David Gill will be the FA’s candidate to become a FIFA vice-president, with the election to take place next March.

Gill will go up against candidates from the other British associations, with UEFA members deciding who takes over from Northern Ireland’s Jim Boyce, who will retire from his role with FIFA in May 2015.
