White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino isn’t all that impressed with the efforts of Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor and as such is keen to bolster his attack and sees prolific Ligue 1 ace Ben Yedder as an option to pursue in January.

The 24 year old has impressed in recent seasons and already has six league goals to his name this term and could be available for around £5m and has been heavily scouted by the north London side.

Ben Yedder may well be open to a move to the Premier League side though Spurs are also considering a bid for experienced Dutch international Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who is available for just £3m as Schalke look to cash in on the former Real Madrid and AC Milan man in preference to seeing the 31 year old leave on a free transfer next summer.

Arguably Huntelaar wasn’t given the chance to prove himself during his brief spells at the Bernabeu and the San Siro but has certainly impressed since moving to Germany.

The lethal finisher has racked up 95 goals in 146 appearances for Schalke and registered his 36th national team goal in Holland’s recent victory over Kazakhstan.
