The talented 23-year-old is currently on loan at Monchengladbach from Bayer Leverkusen, and while he admits he could return to his parent club, he is also open to moving abroad.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also among his many admirers, while a move to Spain could also be an option after rumoured interest from La Liga hot-shots Real Madrid.

Kramer is a regular for the German national side, appearing for Joachim Low’s men in this summer’s World Cup final, and there’s no doubt he could do a job for any top side at his best, with Liverpool and Arsenal certainly both in need of strengthening after disappointing performances at the start of this season.

Arsenal have also been linked with Leverkusen enforcer Lars Bender in a bid to strengthen in the defensive midfield department, but Kramer’s possible desire to move to the Premier League could make him another realistic target for the Gunners in the upcoming transfer window.

Asked about a move to the Premier League, he said: “That has always interested me. I would not be afraid of (going abroad).

“I want to find out what my limit is and I always strive for the very best.”
