Stamford Bridge side chase in-form forward.
Chelsea have reportedly begun talks to sign HNK Rijeka forward Andrej Kramaric according to the Metro.
Blues scouts have been sent to run the rule over the 23 year old and must have been pleased with what they saw and the Blues are apparently just one of 15 clubs tracking the Croatian international.
The £8m rated striker is also said to be a Tottenham target and may elect to move to the north London side over a Stamford Bridge switch if he feels first team football may be easier to secure at White Hart Lane.
Kramaric is one of the most prolific strikers in European football having racked up an astonishing 27 goals in 25 appearances in all competitions for Rijeka, that tally including a stunning 13-minute hat-trick against Feyenoord in the Europa League.
Kramaric is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and as such his side may look to cash-in on the player in January to avoid the prospect of their star player leaving on a free transfer next summer.
