Arsenal are reportedly the leading contenders to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool this January, according to the Daily Express.

The French international has struggled to settle at the Parc des Princes since his big-money move to the club from Newcastle United last January, and is now looking likely to return to the Premier League.
Arsenal have been linked with Cabaye in the past and look set to move for him again this season as Arsene Wenger eyes new options in midfield, with Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere both looking like facing long spells on the treatment table.
The Gunners were arguably in need of improvements in midfield anyway this term, and Cabaye is the latest in a long line of big names to be linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium this winter.
United and Liverpool could also do with new additions in the middle of the park in the upcoming transfer window, but it seems that the 28-year-old playmaker wants to link up with his fellow countryman Wenger at Arsenal if he is granted an exit from PSG.
The ex-Magpie would cost somewhere in the region of £19m to sign this winter.
