Spurs playmaker not committing to White Hart Lane side.
Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen could be set to further fuel speculation surrounding a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain as he stalls on signing a new contract at White Hart Lane.
The Danish international joined Spurs from Ajax last summer and had a strong first season in the Premier League, recently attracting some interest from Ligue 1 big-spenders PSG, according to the Daily Express.
Further to that story, Danish source BT.dk now reports that the 22-year-old is stalling on a new contract offer from the north London side, possibly down to a frustration at the team’s performances this season.
Spurs currently sit in 10th place in the Premier League table, and it has previously been claimed that Eriksen is unhappy with the club’s failure to make it into the Champions League, which now looks like becoming something of a tall order for the team this season.
If Eriksen does make the move to the Parc des Princes, it could make good news for Manchester United fans, with Angel Di Maria previously emerging as the French giants’ top target in that part of the pitch.
