The Gunners have been scouting the player recently…

Arsenal target Krystian Bielik has been told by ex-Poland international Kamil Kosowski that he should follow in Wojciech Szczesny’s footsteps by moving from Legia Warsaw to the Gunners, according to reports in the country.

However, the North London club will apparently face competition from Everton according to the Daily Mail. Bielik is a 16-year-old who has already broken in to Legia Warsaw’s first team, and is also already a full international for Slovakia. He plays in central midfield.

Kosowski has claimed that his youth should be no barrier to his ambition to play in the best leagues in the world. He has likened the situation to when current Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny moved to London at a similar age. However, he did make the qualifying statement that the player’s character needs to be right for the move to work.

“If I were in his place I wouldn’t even take a minute to think. He has to take the chance! Sixteen years old is not the age to be afraid to leave. Lets look at Wojciech Szcz?sny, at the same age he moved to London,” he said.

“He has to decide whether he will be a star or just a solid player.”

Gunners fans will be hoping that this is not the only transfer that Arsene Wenger is looking in to, with their side currently struggling in the Premier League and in need of senior reinforcements.
