The Old Trafford side have been linked with a move for the 25 year old for some weeks and though this offer would clearly smash the world transfer record it still seems highly unlikely that the Bernabeu outfit would be open to offers for the Welsh international.
Since leaving Tottenham for the Spanish capital Bale has proven an instant hit, last term netting goals in both the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals and becoming a pivotal member of Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven.
Bale has continued to impress this term and has been a key part of Real Madrid’s astonishing 22 match winning streak.
Louis van Gaal will no doubt be handed a massive transfer fund injection to further improve his squad but a move for Bale seems something of an impossible dream and arguably the Dutch boss would be better off looking to strengthen his back-line over moves for further attacking additions.
