Cesare Prandelli Set To Take Over as AC Milan Boss

Filippo Inzaghi is reportedly on borrowed time at AC Milan.

Despite being one of their most legendary players, the icon has been unable to translate that into success from the dugout.

As we reported earlier in the week, it is suspected that bad results in two upcoming games against Lazio will seal his fate. Those close to the club, however, are claiming that the decision to replace Inzaghi has already been made, and he will leave his post as soon as a deal can be reached with ex- national team manager Cesare Prandelli.

The former Parma, Roma, and Fiorentina manager is out of work after being sacked by Turkish giants Galatasaray last November, just 147 days into his tenure.

Prandelli won three Serie A titles with Milan’s rivals Juventus in the 1980s, and also lifted the European Cup in 1985. As a manager he finished as runner-up to Spain in the 2012 European Championships.
