The Spaniard believes that the incredible front line that the Catalan club possess could propel them to winning all three competitions they are in. With the arrival of Luis Suarez from Liverpool in the summer they now have a front line including the Uruguayan, Neymar, and Lionel Messi.
Despite the presence of such an attacking force at the Nou Camp there it is still surprising that the 26-year-old would pick them as his favourites. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are all seen as better all round teams by many supporters.
He wrote, “Real Madrid won a very important game after a complicated week. In those cases, a victory is the best remedy and also helps to recover some energy with a view to the decisive weeks of the season.”
Then continued, “Barça enjoyed more though, once again displaying an extraordinary offensive power. Messi seems to be reaching his peak of the season right now. And if we add up the contribution from some other fantastic players, they are potential candidates to win every single competition.”
Mata will be hoping that the Red Devils are themselves in the competition next season, with the team currently in the top four of the Premier League. However, the form of Arsenal and Tottenham means that they still have a fight ahead of them to qualify.
