The Toffees made quite an impression in the transfer market last summer when they broke their transfer record to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea in a £28m deal.
It now seems Roberto Martinez is prepared to be ambitious again, with Casemiro one of the club’s top targets for the summer as he looks like potentially being available.
Despite being regarded as a top young talent, the 22-year-old has found first-team football hard to come by at the Bernabeu and has spent this season on loan at Porto.
