Vidal was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford last summer, where United reportedly had several bids rejected by Juventus. It had been widely speculated that Louis van Gaal would go back in for the Chile star this summer but it appears the 27-year-old has his heart set on remianing with the reigning Serie A champions.

“It is hard to think about leaving Juventus when you have been crowned champions and you are part of a great team.” Vidal told Las Ultimas Noticias (via The Metro)

“For any player, the most important thing is to win trophies and to become part of the club’s history.” he added.

“The people in Turin love me, I am feeling very well here and my family is feeling right at home.”

“Why should I have any desire to leave? I am feeling extremely well at Juventus.”

Since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2011, Vidal has gone on to become one of the most popular players at the club in addition to being an integral part of the side.

He has helped Juventus claim three league and two Italian super cup titles in his three and a half seasons at the club and news that he wishes to prolong his stay in Turin is sure to be a boost for all connected with the Serie A leaders.
