Liverpool players Daniel Sturridge and Jordon Ibe got over the disappointment of their side’s 4-1 thumping at the Emirates against Arsenal, by going to see Canadian R&B star, PartyNextDoor in Birmingham.

While Ibe didn’t feature in the humiliation, as he continues his recovery from a knee injury sustained last month, Sturridge was brought on by Brendan Rodgers at half-time. However, by the time the England international came on for Lazar Markovic, the score was already 3-0 – thanks to goals from Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil, and Alexis Sanchez, and the game was already seemingly gone, unless something miraculous happened.

With just under fifteen minutes, the Reds were offered a lifeline when captain, Jordan Henderson managed to just about squeeze a penalty past David Ospina.

But a red card for Emre Can, as well as a fourth goal added by Olivier Giroud effectively ended Liverpool’s slim top-four aspirations.

Both Sturridge and Ibe took to their Instagram pages to show how they were getting over the defeat.

Here’s the video Sturridge posted:
