Manchester United are seemingly ready to let one of their big-name players go this summer as they offer Robin van Persie to Juventus as part of their bid to sign Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils are known to be keen on being reunited with their former midfielder, who has established himself as one of the world’s best midfielders since leaving Old Trafford for Turin as a teenager.
Pogba is now high in demand after another superb season in Serie A, but United will hope that the offer of van Persie heading in the other direction could help swing things in their favour, according to Italian source Tutto Mercato Web.
Although the Netherlands international striker looks somewhat past his best this season, it could be that he would benefit from moving to the slower-paced Serie A, where other members of United’s ageing squad, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, moved last summer after disappointing final seasons in England.
