The Algeria international impressed in the World Cup last summer, and has continued to play well since moving to the Portuguese club. However, he could be on the move again after just one season with the Primeira Liga side. This is despite his contract with the team running until 2019.

The article claims that Brahimi, who can also play centrally, has a release clause totalling £33 million. However, interest from the Citizens as well as PSG and Bayern Munich means that the Gunners and Red Devils could be priced out of the market.

The 25-year-old has scored 11 goals in 35 appearances this season, and has created another three assists in an impressive Champions League campaign. These stats may point towards why some of Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in the player.
