Chelsea look set to rival Liverpool in a shock move to sign Manchester United loan flop Radamel Falcao in the summer transfer window.

The Blues are surprise contenders for the out-of-form Colombian international, who has only scored four goals all season long since moving to Old Trafford on a season-long deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
Falcao is not expected to make the permanent move to United after his poor form, but it may be that he will get another chance to shine in the Premier League as Chelsea and Liverpool come calling.
The 29-year-old has previously been regarded as one of the best players in the world, particularly during a stunning goalscoring spell in La Liga with Atletico Madrid, and may be a player worth gambling on.
According to the Metro, Chelsea are hoping to hijack Liverpool’s move for the South American, and may let Loic Remy leave the club if they make this new signing upfront.
