Liverpool transfer targets

The Daily Express has drawn up an apparent short-list of possible Anfield targets among whom is Real Madrid’s exciting young talent Jese.

The 22 year old has seen the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Morata leave the Bernabeu in recent seasons but any chance of forging a career at the Spanish giants have subsequently been hampered by the signings of James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale and the addition of Javier Hernandez on a loan deal.

Therefore the Canary Islands born forward must surely be considering his future and is also apparently the subject of interest from Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who of course knows Jese well from his time in charge of the La Liga side.

Though this source values Jese at £15m it is perhaps most likely that a loan deal may suit all parties in 2015/16.

13 of Jese’s 14 La Liga appearances this season have been from the bench and Jese has struck two goals in the process.
